arco studio home
A little about us.
Arco Studio Home is a shop for furniture, lighting and objects, born out of our work in cabinetry and millwork at Arco Studio.
What goes here?
Our clients were asking for help finding the pieces to finish their spaces. The cabinetry was part of the picture. There was still a chair to find, lighting to think about, and the question of what would work with what they already owned.
We wanted to help with that part, too.
“Meanwhile, I was finding plenty of things I wanted for my own home. Finding somewhere to put them was becoming a separate issue.”
The shop brought those two things together.
How we choose
Working in cabinetry and millwork means spending a lot of time thinking about materials, proportions and how things are made. That experience carries into what we select for Arco Studio Home.
We’re drawn to natural materials: wood, stone, metal and glass. We look for pieces we’d want to live with for years. There’s also room for a performance-fabric chair with a great shape, or a mirror that gives a simple room a little more personality.
Before we add something, we look at it alongside the rest of the collection. What would we put it with? What does it add? Could it work in a room someone already loves?
We select individual pieces from our suppliers, looking at how each one works within the collection. You should be able to find a few things that work together without feeling like you have to buy the whole room.
Make yourself at home
